He then attended the University of Calgary Medical School and received his Undergraduate Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014. Following receipt of his medical degree Dr. Doulla moved to Ottawa to pursue his residency in family medicine which he successfully completed in June 2016. He has a general family practice focused on comprehensive care and preventative care in family medicine. He then went on to study Cell Biology at the University of Alberta, prior to beginning Medical School at the University of Calgary. He graduated from the Cumming School of Medicine in 2016 (Class of the Narwhals) with his Doctor of Medicine and then completed his residency in 2018 at the University of Calgary, based out of the Central Teaching Centre at Sheldon M. Chumir Centre in downtown Calgary. In 2018, Dr. Brochu obtained his CCFP designation and began practicing at Braeside on 24th in 2019. Dr. Brochu also has an interest in dermatology, and regularly uses dermoscopy for the early detection of skin cancers. Dr. Brochu is also involved in medical education. He is a clinical lecturer with the University of Calgary.
